I used it in a mayo recipe in my original Practical Paleo, it’s a good one for cold applications or low heat. It’s fairly pricey but it’s one I’d probably choose over avocado oil that’s currently ver popular. I still use olive oil mostly.

  1. I’ve heard a lot lately about some amino acids feeding cancer tumors. Especially Glycine, which is in the Collagen Peptides. There are several studies that warn against consuming. Any thoughts?

  2. Can a chicken or beef broth /stock store-bought brands compare nutritionally versus homemade? I pressure cook using stock for soups. I would hate to think I’m selling myself short.

It depends which store-bought you get, really. I really think it’s hard to compare the nutrition in store-bought to homemade, but the ones sold cold/frozen seem the top-tier / most legit in that sense (Bare Bones, Bonafide, even Trader Joe’s has one — and other brands). We also sell homemade organic bone broths with our meal boxes if you are looking for ours. If you are used to making your own, stick to it! When we need to lean on store-bought, we go with the fresh/frozen kinds.
